'THROWING SHADE" Live Onstage!
Old Time Radio Show Satire Live Presentation
Saturday, October 22, 2022 @ 7:30pm
Written by Kaeley Osterman and Andrew Pond
Produced in conjunction with
Eclectic Full Contact Theatre

Chicago, 1934
In a city rife with crime and corruption, a hero emerges.
The Shade, who rushes in where fools fear to tread...with predicatable results. Luckily for Chicago, there’s the Vamp, female crimefighter replete with all the skill and talent the Shade lacks. Can the Shade save Chicago from crime? Can the Vamp save The Shade from himself?

Paradox Theatre Works and Eclectic Full Contact Theatre present "Throwing Shade", the 1930’s radio satire you’ve been dying for. Performed live onstage, in true Old Time Radio fashion; in front of microphones with a foley artist and scripts in hand, as nature and radio intended it!

The Shade—the hero this city....never really asked for...
